RadioMatic est la contraction de Radio et d'Automatique en traduction anglaise. Le projet a consisté entre 2002 et 2003 en la construction d'une radio permanente automatique diffusée en streaming on-line 24h/24h.
RadioMatic comes from Radio and Automatic. The project is the construction of an automatic continuous streaming online "radio", with the challenge of a non-stop broadcasting. In 2002|2003, this project was issued from an educational collaboration between RadioStudio / Bauhaus-University of Weimar (Ral Homann) and AudioLab / Art School Villa Arson Nice (Jerome Joy), with co-operations of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Art Schools of Aix-en-Provence / Avignon / Marseille. The project concerned the development of the client/server on-line mixing tool STREAPS programmed by radiostudio.org from Weimar.
